These terms cover the course sold at licensetodig.com. Buying it means agreeing to them. They are short on purpose.
Access, for a fixed period, to a study course covering both California CSLB examinations — Law & Business and the C-27 Landscaping trade exam — in English and Spanish. That includes the lessons, the practice exam bank, the flashcards, the glossary, the field reference and calculators, the Compliance Vault, and the quarterly updates published during your access period.
| New buyer | $250 — 365 days of access |
| Founding member | $175 — the first 50 accounts to buy |
| Returning buyer | $149 — anyone who has bought before, every time after, indefinitely |
This is a single payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically. Your card is not stored for future charges by us and will not be charged again unless you deliberately buy again. There is no subscription to cancel, because there is no subscription.
Buying again while you still have time left adds to what you have; it does not reset it. You never lose days by renewing early.
Email support@licensetodig.com within 14 days of purchase and we refund it in full, no reason required. After 14 days we do not refund, because by then you have had the material.
A refund ends your access and returns any founding seat you were holding to the pool.
Your account is for you. Do not share your sign-in link, and do not give other people access to the material.
We enforce this, and we would rather you knew how than found out the hard way. Every lesson page carries your name visibly and your account id invisibly, in characters that survive copy-and-paste. Every page view records its IP address and browser. One login used by a crew shows up as one account in five cities in an hour.
If we find an account being shared or material being redistributed, we may suspend or terminate it without a refund.
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course to study for your own exams, for as long as your access lasts. You may take notes and print pages for your own use.
You may not copy, republish, resell, post, or otherwise distribute the course or any part of it; use it to teach or train others commercially; or use automated tools to download it in bulk. The course content is ours. California statutes and regulations quoted within it are public domain and always were.
The material is re-verified against primary sources every quarter, and what changed is published in the Update Log with dates, so you can check rather than trust. California law still changes between updates, and local jurisdictions amend construction rules independently of the state. Verify anything you are about to rely on for a real job or a real filing.
We aim to keep the site up and will not deliberately take the course away during a period you have paid for. We do not promise uninterrupted service. If an outage is long enough to materially cost you access, tell us and we will extend your window.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to this course is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including a failed examination, a delayed licence, or lost work.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using the course at any time; the refund terms in §3 are what apply. We may suspend or end access for sharing, redistribution, a chargeback filed instead of a refund request, or use that breaks the law.
If these terms change materially, we will email account holders and update the date at the top. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase already made — the terms you bought under are the ones that govern that purchase.
California law governs these terms, and the courts of Orange County, California are where disputes are heard. Nothing here removes any right you have under California consumer protection law.
